Hiroshima & Peace Memorial Park

October 3 we arrived in Hiroshima and quickly went to the area of the "hypocenter" of the bomb and then to the nearby Peace Memorial Park, where hundreds of school kids were engaged in various activities commemorating the U.S. atomic bombing of the city. It was a somber day.
